link groaned straightening up out of bed opening he opened his eyes and locked down at his child-like hands and guessed he was somewhere around six or seven so that gave him nine to ten years to get strong enough to fight ganon and stab ganondorf in his cradle and he will make sure not to take a hundred years like the original to take care of ganon thus giving him time to find and kill ganondorf before his seal ends because gloom is fine but malice sucks.
sighing to himself at those thoughts he was glad he didn't have to work from birth as his personality was suppressed for the first few years to lessen strain on his body. he remembered he was the son of two prominate knights who were the body guards of the king and queen respectively but given his looks and being a prodigal swordsman who won the kids tournament recently, he was expected to be the legendary swordsman already being periodically shoved to zelda's side and trained when he's not.
stunned at the memories link realized he was already swimming with mipha and hanging with daruk as well the only champion's he didn't meet on the regular was the gurudo and the rito, one because she was too busy with the guardian excavation and leading her people and the other because he was too stuck up and thought he was superior to link... damn ravali!
anyways link calmed down shortly later and mentally called out for his system.

Link fist bumped at that because he made plenty of use of stasis+ and other abilities when playing the game. thinking further her remembered four other abilities that one would get after each divine beast was reclaimed knowing he wouldn't let mipha, duruk, and the others die like in the game nor would he go into a coma for a hundred years while hyrule and not to mention goddess hylia are in danger.

5. before leaving hyrule with the goddess and others user must remove the roots of rebellion by obliterating the yiga clan]
link sighed realizing he had a full plate these next nine to ten years, straightening as he got up link looked to the side where his weapon's were leaning against the wall of his run down shack. shaking his head at his meager belonging he grabbed his soldier's sword and began to practice his swordsmanship after breaking a sweat he took a drink of water before practicing with his spear, he worked hard on all weapons' because the original link in the game he played could use them all so he wanted to live up to that reputation.
days in a soldier came up to his shack and told him his parents sent their regards and the king had ordered him to take up his post as the princess's guard before walking away. link was surprised that a six year old would be guarding another six year old but shrugged before dressing in his knight's armor strapping his sword and shield to his back before trotting of to where his ride was waiting (he's only six but they want him to get used to guarding zelda earlier and he's a bit too young to have his own horse so thats later on)
link arriving at the castle was directed to zelda's study where he laid his eyes on a girl with hair of gold whom was currently studying something the king told her repeatedly not to instead he wanted her to pray to the goddess hylia and learn how to use her sacred power. link shrugged he didn't mind as her studying would help when he planned to go to orario, so he just stood behind her in typical bodyguard fashion until she notice him
"e-excuse me b-but who are you?" she said nervously being a nervous six-year-old she didn't have none of the confidence she would have in later years. "I am your personal knight and bodyguard link son of the two most promising knights that protect your parents lylia and Ankos." link said as he kneeled "why? why didn't you interrupt my studying... i would think my father would have passed on that i'm not to study history besides that of my role nor engineering?" she said clearly surprised someone would ignore her father like that. link looked up from where he was kneeling and said "because the goddess hylia has already told me what will happen and what i need to do, you don't need to worry anymore of filling the role your father thought you needed to. you are free to chase your own desires, I'll take care of calamity ganon." link stunned her by what he said but he also relived her of her stressful burden purely by his unwavering gaze and confident words.
That was the start... the start of the princess falling for her knight unaware that she would chase him all the way to the dungeon city of the gods orario.
