Link would from time to time begiven time off from guarding zelda and during those times he would either go to zora's domain or to the elden region of death mountain.
today link was swimming through the rivers of zora's domain as exercise trying to expand his already expanding life and stamina he had achieved ten hearts five short of his temporary goal before claiming the master sword as he didn't know if it had the same mechanics as it had in the game so as to not lose his life stupidly he was gonna get more then the game required. as he was swimming he had no idea he had a stalker.
mipha hid every time he looked around after feeling her intense gaze but after he went back to swimming she came out to watch him again, they have already been friends for a couple years but mipha was developing feelings far more then just friendship but she didn't know how to approach him with it considering he was always busy either guarding the princess zelda or working and training almost like he was possessed. its been two years since he was appointed as zelda's personal knight and bodyguard and he never did things for leisure almost like he had a time limit. but mipha wasn't discouraged after all she read many stories about how interracial-love would work out sometimes as long as there was truth and love she should be fine. but at time she would notice his gaze turn toward that city of descended gods and goddess's she had read about it how gods made families with something that displayed status's and the unending dungeon they built a city around. she at times would worry about link's lifespan worried she would be widow after a hundred years but after praying to goddess hylia she received word that she wouldn't have that problem in fact her goddess even encouraged her to chase him which was odd for her but she wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
link got up out of the water and shook the water off like a dog before walking over where he left his pack. picking it up he was glad his sheikah slate was fully unlocked meaning he didn't have to go to shrines and what not to unlock his teleport functions they were unlocked already, so setting his marker on goron city he strapped his gear on and teleported there vanishing before mipha's eyes whom has already seen this once or twice.
Sighing to herself mipha realized she lost her chance today kicking some rocks on her way to see her mentor who really did not like link nor any hylian but he was a good mentor teaching her the trident among other things she thought she would need to follow link.

as link arrived in goron city he was greeted by a too strong back slap out of no where "hey there little guy... you here to do some more mining?" link turned around and was greeted by his friend duruk whom was one of the biggest goron he knew. nodding at duruk's question link pulled a pickaxe from his inventory and followed duruk to the mines.
as he was mining he picked up all the valuable gems like diamonds ruby's and so onebut left the things like amber and what not to be sold automatically while he was mining pretty fast for a hylian his buddy was making him look like a snail in comparison swinging two pickaxe's around one in each hand.
Link sighed at the goron's natural strength clearly jealous but inwardly hoping his strength would get so strong maybe even stronger but he was only eight so catching up wasn't so hard. as link finished the day's work he laid down exhausted having pushed himself to mine more ores while increasing his personal strength. he didn't have any skills like other isekai protagonists nor any magic but he was sure he'd have both when hyrule was safe 'speaking of' he thought as he watched a guardian wipe out a monster lair. 'I need to make sure those don't become hostile because they would be useful for keeping the peace in hyrule while im gone.
saying goodbye to duruk who was still mining link teleported to his shack outside castletown and began to practice his archery he could already slow time mid-fall for accurate shots but his accuracy itself needed work as he only hit the center two out of three times without time slowed and he wanted three out of three. so he proceeded to practice unaware he had another stalker this one with golden hair watching his practice.
Zelda herself didn't know when she developed a crush but she knew enough now that she liked link but was willing to wait until he finished what he said two years ago. and as he got better and better at both close and far ranged weapons he slowly started surpassing his own parents skills unaware he was causing such a stir in the castle not only because of his likeness to the chosen swordsman but also because of his growing prowess. even the king had to admit he was becoming quite the swordsman.
so as time went on link eventually befriended both urbossa and rather reluctantly ravali, ravali was most difficult because link had to beat him in archery ten times out of tent before the stuck up birdperson finally put down his unneeded pride, whereas urbossa was easy her acting more like a mother figure to both link and zelda kinda helped since their own parents were much too busy to deal with them either leaving them with nanny's or with their trainer's. urbossa even taught link to manipulate lightning but he was still nowhere near urbossa's talent but he was getting close. and so things continued on for many years about eight to be exact where link kept training his body and mind until the day he was taken to the korok woods and met the great deku tree and pulled the master sword from its pedestal. link then proceeded to practice with it until the day ganon tried to ursurp hyrule with his reincarnation but met with failure because he couldn't even extend his reach outside hyrule castle trapping him and his blights inside the castle.
