"We're out of luck here too…"
"Agh, this sucks." he groaned as he winced in pain from the scratches. Slightly turning on his side, his breathing became ragged as Iris began to reluctantly reach out.
"Hey, don't move around too much…"
"It's just a little uncomfortable is all…my bad."
Iris continued to stare at the wounds as her eyes lowered at the sight. Before she faded out of consciousness from the fall, she remembered the warmth of Dante holding her, though she knew him doing so caused him to be struck by the monster that chased them. She felt a sense of responsibility as she looked at his tattered clothes.
"I'm sorry, my screw up caused you to get hurt."
"It's fine, really. We just need to find your bag, and you'll be able to fix me up."
"...R-right. Let me search for it."
She pulled out her wand quickly and began to slowly chant a spell, a small breeze filled the area before her eyes brightened as she'd casted a sensory spell to look around the area, as it'd been hard to see due to the dim lighting within the cavern. She began to look in all directions until stopping as she looked in the direction from which it seemed they fell from.
"There…my bag is stuck on that ledge. There's no way I can reach that…"
Her head dropped as she began to scratch her head in the moment before noticing Dante slowly beginning to rise from the ground.
"H-hey! You shouldn't be–"
"We're not going to sit around here…I feel that thing's presence."
"Even still you're hurt–!"
"I'll be fine…you can just heal me up…when we get to safety."
Her face furrowed as she quickly moved to his side and lifted his arm and placed it on her shoulder. She pressed herself firmly against him before he got a chance to react. He looked down at her, surprised by how close she'd gotten in the moment.
"At least…let me help you. You're hurt."
"R-right."
