Dear Diary,
Today was like a rom-com episode—with extra belly rubs and weird cravings.
First of all, I officially cannot walk past a bakery without needing to devour at least one cinnamon bun. Min-jun thinks it's hilarious.
"Didn't you just eat breakfast?" he teased as I dragged him into the bakery like a sugar-deprived zombie.
I gave him the look. "This isn't breakfast. This is baby business."
He ended up buying me three. He's learning.
Later, we had lunch with Dae-hyun, Hye-jin, and the gang. I swear they don't know how to act normal anymore. As soon as I walked in, Dae-hyun stood dramatically and announced, "Make way for the Royal Womb!"
I nearly choked on my lemonade.
"Dae-hyun!" I hissed, smacking his arm while everyone burst into laughter.
But honestly? Their teasing made me feel weirdly loved. Especially when Hye-jin stuffed a tiny pink cupcake into my hand and whispered, "Just in case she's a girl."
Min-jun kept stealing glances at me the whole time. He gets this soft, dopey look whenever I talk to the baby—or, you know, scream at my phone for not loading fast enough.
"You're glowing," he said, nudging me gently under the table.
"Yeah," I snorted. "With sweat and pickles."
After lunch, we went for a walk, just the two of us. He wrapped his arm around me, his hand naturally resting on my bump, like it was his belly too.
"Sometimes I still can't believe we're doing this," he said softly.
I looked up at him. "Me neither. But… I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else."
He leaned down and kissed my forehead, then my nose, and finally my lips.
I melted. Obviously.
And then… I hiccuped.
"Was that you or the baby?" he asked, wide-eyed.
I hiccuped again. "Me."
We both laughed until my stomach hurt.
This pregnancy thing is wild. Weird cravings, endless hiccups, and emotions bouncing around like a trampoline. But through it all, there's Min-jun. And cuddles. And cupcake-loving friends.
And somehow, that makes everything feel okay.
Even the hiccups.
