"Bill my old friend! I'm suprise you called me, normally I have to initiate the calls." Professor Samuel Oak said with a happy smile as he looked at his friend who called him over his computer.
"Sam you old goat, still kicking o see!" Bill laughed before they started trading plesentries and chatting away for a while.
"So what did you call me for?" Oak asked curiously.
"Well for two things. I had an interesting encounter recently, a young man named Raven Inanis showed up at my lighthouse. He is simply marvelous, the way his brain works is frightening and fascinating in equal measure. With just the basic research notes I put out about how the PC worked, he figured everything out. My use of the infinite energy, how I did everything. Not to mention all his own theories I've never even thought up of! Things I've never even heard of! It was simply exciting!" Bill kept going on and on about the theories listed, and Samuel could admit he was tempted to meet the young man just from this alone.
"Bill, not that I don't love hearing all the other things, but perhaps you can mention the second thing?" The professor gently reminded snapping the other man out his rambling.
"Oh yes, apologies. That Eevee you freed from that disgusting trainer, the one you punched, she actually decided to travel with the young man." Bill revealed and Oak startled at that.
That particular Eevee was very particular, she didn't let people close, she only ever at times visited the lighthouse, she barley let a Nurse Joy examine her. The fact she choose to go with someone says a lot about them.
"How curious, perhaps I can check up on them." Professor Oak felt a bit guilty about that. He himself had sponsored that trainer. The betryal in trust had been painful, to see the young man he watched grow up become such scum.
"You will probably get the chance to. I recently spoke with the young man over a call, he just beat Cinnabar Island's gym. He will be passing through Pallet Town to get through to Viridian City to catch a flight to Vermillion City for the SS Anne." Bill said and the Professor hummed, he didn't have any places to be for at least a month.
"I'll have to keep an eye out for him then." He said and Bill laughed.
"You can't miss him. He has a motly crew of Pokemon I hear. Very interesting one's that's for sure. Very interesting." Bill laughed as he cut the call.
"He hasn't been this excited for a while. Let's see, if he talked with Bill recently, he should be passing by within a day or two at most then." The professor hummed before deciding to take a look into this young man.

"Raven Inanis… oh?" The professor raised an eyebrow as he looked at his profile page.
The profile page was fresh, he just appeared this year according to it. No flags mentioned because of it, so perhaps he sought asylum in Kanto for a fresh start, or to avoid some people?
His Pokemon too, there was an error with the first Pokemon. It just read the name "Koraidon?" Typing was a curious Dragon/Fighting. No listed evolutions.
However after that was much more simple. Haunter, those bring back fond memories. No eevee, but a Sylveon, not much was known about them besides their pure Fairy typing. Then a Lapras.
What a curious line up. This Koraidon and the Haunter must have been with him at the start, and he caught the other two.
Professor Oak smiled, he did like solving puzzles, and this was most definitely an interesting puzzle. He signed out of the database and headed out, he had to feed some of the more wild pokemon in his ranch himself.

"What do you mean that couldn't find anything?" Lance asked annoyed and curious. He was currently listening to the report of a group of his elite g-men unit, Team Dragon.
"When we got to the site, all we found was broken glass, burned things and a lot of dried blood." The leader spoke up again.
"Damnit! This is the fourth time we've found such a thing. It's not Team Rocket either, it doesn't fit their memo." Lance grumbled before he sent Team Dragok out.
"Who could be behind this? What are they trying to do?" Lance asked with a frown as he stared out at the rising sun in the distance through his office window.

"Sir, we've received reports that our abandoned base ZD-034 was raided by the g-men." A man reported to his boss who was reading through some papers.
"It is of little concern, it's been abandoned for a while. That means their leads are still cold. Though ensure the men are much more covert in the future though." The boss ordered as the man saluted and walked off.
"Not yet Lance, not yet. Project Millennium Synthesis isn't quite done. Soon though, soon Kanto shall become ours and no one shall be able to stop us." The man laughed as he looked through his window and caught sight of a pair of glowing blue eyes before they dimmed.

I laughed playfully as I chased Sylveon around with a towel after giving her a bath. The little rascal.
"Get back here!" I growled playfully as she giggled and kept running around.
This was normal when it was bath time, I'd spend five minutes chasing her before she'd give in. The little shit!

"How is Mewtwo coming along?" Giovani asked as he sat at his desk, Ariana standing before him.
"The results are as expected sir. His energy ratings have gone up about 15% since last time. His control is still lacking slightly, but the doctor believes that should be fixed soon. His brainwaves read as normal. So far no signs of failure." Ariana said as she summarized the stack of papers in her hand as she laid them on the desk and stepped back.
"Good. Soon we will have a legendary pokemon of our own, the league will not be an issue soon. Also I heard about an interesting Pikachu in one of reports?" Giovani asked confused.
"Yes, Operatives James and Jessie are following a newbie trainer with a slightly above average Pikachu. Nothing particularly noteworthy about the child, but he does travel with former gym leader Brock, and the younger sister of the Cerulean gym leader trio. His name is Ash Ketchum." Ariana said as she remembered those particular report, however she paused as she noticed the boss freeze for a moment.
"Ketchum you say?" He asked softly, and she nodded.
"I want a full report on the boy. For now keep track of them, and request or things noted by High Grunts Jesse and James are to be sent to me directly." Giovani ordered as Ariana saluted before she walked off confused by his reaction.
"Delia?" Giovani asked once he was alone in a whisper. Memories of a brown haired woman came to his mind as he sighed and pulled out a photo.
"Ash Ketchum huh?" Giovani asked himself before sighing, he wouldn't be getting any work done for now, so he might as well go home.

So I've decided to start branching out, things will start happening, the plot will start changing. More characters will receive screen time.
A new group of villains? What is Project Millennium Synthesis? Why is Giovani interested in the Ketchum name, and knows Delia's name?
Who knows!
