"Don't bring that up. Aren't you enjoying this too?"
Uchiha Shin's voice carried amusement as he leaned back, his crimson Sharingan gleaming slightly in the dim light.
"I came here this time to send my daughter to Konoha."
He spoke casually, but there was weight behind his words. "She's inherited a part of the Uzumaki bloodline—red hair."
His fingers tapped lightly against the wooden desk. "Mito Uzumaki won't last much longer. I want to take her there, let them see her."
Sasha, lounging comfortably, stretched her arms above her head, her thin shirt unable to hide the curves beneath. A teasing smirk played on her lips as she glanced at Shin with undisguised amusement.
"She's in the back garden with one of the maids," she said lazily. "Go find her."
Pah!
Shin's palm struck her plump thigh in response, making Sasha let out a soft, indignant noise. She knew exactly what she was doing, flaunting her figure like that in front of him. He would have gladly indulged her, but he had more pressing matters to attend to.
She pouted exaggeratedly as he turned to leave, rolling her eyes. "Hmph. You always said my body wasn't that great before, but now that I've improved, you don't even bother to praise me."
Walking to a mirror, Sasha admired her reflection. Not a single ounce of unnecessary fat, yet she was still voluptuous where it mattered. She had worked for this—training under a specialized regimen crafted by a kunoichi who was well-versed in body enhancement techniques. The results spoke for themselves.
"Shin-jun even had the nerve to say I wasn't as beautiful as Tsunade. I wonder if she's really better than me now…"
She murmured to herself, her competitive spirit flaring. When she returned to Konoha, she'd make Shin realize exactly who was superior.
Sarah, of course, was another part of the equation. She had been raised with a purpose, trained since childhood. The moment they arrived in Konoha, the princess and the queen would move together—there would be no room for anyone else.
Humming to herself, Sasha returned to her desk, completely at ease. Meanwhile, Shin strode through the palace corridors, his steps purposeful.
The Roran Palace was his domain now, and he knew every inch of it. He had been everywhere—especially when he carried Sasha through these halls, showing her exactly who was in charge.
The palace staff consisted only of maids and female guards, a deliberate decision on his part. He had no interest in other men lingering around, and the women… well, they all served their purpose. The moment he passed, the maids blushed and lowered their heads respectfully.
He smirked.
It wasn't long before he reached the back garden.
Thanks to his Wood Release, the once-barren land had been transformed into a lush, thriving forest. The scent of blooming flowers filled the air, but his attention was drawn to the flash of red at the edge of his vision.
A small figure darted forward at high speed.
"Dad!"
The bright-haired girl launched herself at him, her momentum generating a powerful gust that rustled the leaves around them. Shin barely braced himself in time before Sarah crashed into his chest.
Bang!
The impact sent ripples through the surrounding air, causing nearby petals to scatter.
Though still young, Sarah's strength was undeniable. She had inherited her mother's ability to manipulate the power of the Dragon Vein, and combined with the Uzumaki blood coursing through her veins, she was no ordinary child. On top of that, Shin had been feeding her purified natural energy since infancy, enhancing her body even further.
Born with a near-perfect Sage Body, she existed in a perpetual semi-Sage Mode. If she fought seriously, she could easily hold her own against a Chunin.
Shin ruffled her red hair, fingers grazing the soft strands before pinching her round cheek. "You're still such a brat," he said with a chuckle. "You can't just throw yourself at people like that. Not everyone has a body like mine—they'll break."
Sarah tilted her head up, pressing her small face against his chest, inhaling deeply. She adored her father more than her mother, relishing in his scent, his warmth.
"I only do this with you," she murmured. "You can ask Sister Masako."
She pointed to the side, where a strikingly beautiful woman with brown hair and delicate features stood.
Masako, the head maid of Roran royal palace, offered Shin a gentle smile and a polite bow.
"She's right," Masako affirmed. "Sarah is always very careful."
Unlike the other maids, Masako was special. She never had to kneel before Shin—this level of respect was enough. She handled palace affairs and the management of the other women… but more importantly, she served a deeper role in Sasha's absence.
She was also Sarah's wet nurse.
Despite not being Sarah's biological mother, Masako had undergone specialized treatments to produce milk. At first, Sarah had tried it but didn't drink much—because Sasha had far more to offer. Most of the time, it wasn't Sarah who enjoyed it.
Masako's face flushed as she met Shin's gaze. Even now, standing before him, she felt the familiar sensation of pressure building in her chest.
Shin smirked knowingly.
"Looks like there's still some of Sasha's breakfast left."
He leaned in, lifting Masako's smooth chin with his fingers, his voice dropping into a husky whisper. "I'll come back and enjoy it myself later."
Masako's breath hitched. Her fair cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink, but she nodded meekly, eyes filled with anticipation.
Sarah, still perched in her father's arms, scowled at the interaction. Pouting, she tugged on his collar. "I'm a big girl now! I don't need it anymore."
Shin raised an amused brow. "Oh? You're all grown up now?"
Sarah nodded furiously. "Mhm! And don't ignore me, Dad—it makes me sad."
She wrapped her tiny arms around his neck, nuzzling into him like a spoiled kitten. Shin chuckled, rubbing her back in response.
"Fine, fine. I'll give you your favorite treat later," he promised, patting her small back. "But listen, we're going to Konoha today. There's someone important I want you to meet."
Sarah's eyes lit up instantly. "We're going to Konoha?!"
She straightened in his arms, sitting perfectly still, suddenly the picture of obedience.
Shin smirked. "Just don't get too arrogant. Be a good girl when we're there."
Sarah puffed her cheeks but nodded. "Okay…"
He knew better than to take her words at face value.
Sarah was a handful. She always had been. But he also knew she was more than just his daughter—she was his ace. His queen in the making. And when the time came, she would take her place alongside Sasha.
With a final glance at Masako, whose gaze held quiet longing, Shin tightened his grip around Sarah's waist.
It was time to go.
And Konoha had no idea what was coming.
