CHAPTER 13
"Kael,. Kael; my dear brother, have the guards been treating you well? Huh?" I heard the voice i hated the most; kanan, he grabbed my jaw tightly "you know when father, may his worthless soul rest in peace, when he decided to invoke the throne wars system, i had never been more happier. You know why,?.... Ok i'll tell you, because now i have justified reasons to kill you." Kanan continued from where he left off again.
You might be wondering why i despise you so much, let me tell you a little story of things that happened before your birth about 22 years ago, Father loved cared for your mother the most, whatever she asked he provided, he even postponed some of his duties sometimes whenever you mother was sick or wanted him around. When she got pregnant he became an even more lovesick fool. The rest of us hardly ever saw our father, he didn't care about us or our mothers but then something satisfying and wonderful happened on the day you were born.
Flashback 21 years ago
The palace was in utter chaos, the king's youngest wife was due for delivery today "Hector, Go quickly and summon the witch Eleanor immediately" the king ordered his personal guard; hector who bowed and ran off quickly.
The king went up to the room where his beloved wife was laying and screaming in agony, she had been that way for more than 3 hours. The king,uther was extremely worried "Hold on a little ariel, I have sent for Eleanor. She will be here soon." Just as he was done talking, A middle aged, elegant looking woman appeared in the room out of nowhere.
Uther sat up and said"Eleanor please help my wife". The witch watched the woman lying on the bed for a moment and said "It will be better if that child is not born".
"What…. What are you saying. How can you say my child should not be born." Uther was livid with anger. "That child is a demon. I can see the darkness that surrounds his very soul" Eleanor spoke in her elegant tone.
"I do not care, help my wife please and put her and my child out of this misery, please i beg you" king uther knelt before the witch. "Very well then, leave us. I will call you when i am done". King uther was reluctant but left the room.
Eleanor turned to Ariel "you have engaged yourself with a great demon and now you are bringing his son into the world". She felt a presence behind her and turned towards it "Levi, i am guessing this is your doing? The child is yours, right." She asked casually as if she knew the man who had just appeared.
"Take the child out and give it to the king, and i shall take ariel with me." The man named levi said.
"And why should i help you" Eleanor clapped back. "Because you have no choice" levi retorted his eyes flashing with an eerie glow which scared The witch, and she immediately got to work.
30 minutes later
The cry of a baby filled the room, King uther who had been standing just outside the door smiled widely and quickly went inside, he stopped in his tracks when he saw only Eleanor standing with a baby in her arms. Ariel was no where to be found "where is my wife" The king asked confused "The devil who she got herself involved with has come and taken her. This child is not yours" she responded rather calmly.
"What are you talking about…. Do you mean Ariel got pregnant by a demon and not me?" He asked again refusing to believe what the witch had said. "Yes" she answered giving the child to a midwife.
King uther drew his sword "then i should end his life" he raised the sword but it did not come down "You dare not harm that child, Uther" Eleanor spoke angrily for the first time. "The time for that shall come" she added and vanished.
End of Flashback
"So you see ,my brother, that is your history, that is the truth behind your birth…,"
If all this is true, then all those dreams.., those people… no i cannot believe this blasphemy. He was still spewing meaningless words "shut up…. SHUT UUUUUP!!" I yelled in anger.
