King Alric walked gracefully on the streets of Varyon, escorted by his entourage. Along the way, he tried to pay little to no attention to the sneers and disapproving eyes that surrounded him.
The Lycans seemed to hate his presence there more than before.
''Did you hear me, Alric?'' General Aeron repeated.
''I'm not deaf, Uncle Aeron. Besides I must keep my head up. I don't like the way these animals are looking at me,'' King Alric added.
''Animals? Don't let them hear you calling them that,'' General Aeron said, disapproving of what the King of Lysoria had said.
