"What happened?" Julian asked, wrapping an arm around her protectively. Seeing her tear-stricken face, his eyes swept the bar, narrowing at the guy bleeding from his head with shards of glass lying close to his feet.
Julian heard a scream followed by a crash before walking in. From Alex's shaken state, he guessed that they had tried to hurt her, but she fought back.
"Julian, let's go," Alex said quickly, tugging at his arm. "I'm fine," she said to placate him.
There were about six guys in the bar who sided with Quinn. If Julian started a fight, it would end badly for him. He was severely outnumbered.
"You're not fine."
"It's alright. Let's go." She insisted, her grip on him tightening.
Julian clenched his jaw. The veins in his arms became more prominent as he glared at the men in the bar. But ultimately, he let Alex pull him outside.
He took the keys from her. "I'll drive."
