Kael studied her face for any reaction. Coda was famous in the country also. This girl was lucky enough to see them this closely. But her expression didn't change. Not a look of a fan or any recognition. Not even a flicker in her eyes. If anything, she looked at them like they were just any other human beings. Well, maybe except for him, for she sees him as her emperor. That put him in high regard.
"I think she didn't know me." Coda uttered beside him. They were standing close to the door.
"Guess you're not as famous as you claim you are." Kael replied, arms folded before him.
Coda's brows furrowed, acting offended. "Maybe she had bad eyesight."
"Excuses." He rolled his eyes at his friend.
Coda ignored him and walked over to where the red-haired lady was sitting. He stepped closer to get a better look at Diandra. She met his gaze without hesitation. She stood up and retreated a few steps away to put more distance between them.
