Kael snapped his head to the side. "An alien? Really, Coda?" He opened the door and got himself out, Coda followed, closing the door behind him. He continued. "If she were an alien, how the hell would she know the confidential plot of my drama? The script hasn't even been leaked. The book isn't published for the public."
They stood at the corridor, a few feet away from the door. The walls were thick, so voices couldn't be heard easily. But they still lowered their tone.
Coda crossed his arms, considering. "Okay, fair point. But that just makes this even weirder. Either she's got some serious inside information or…"
He shot him a glare. "Or what? She's the real Diandra from the story? Come on, Coda. Do you hear yourself?"
Coda sighed. "I don't know, man. But tell me—how else do you explain her having the same look? And the other things you found coincidental?"
