'All this while I wondered what made Logan Hudson a monster in people's eyes. I also wondered why his image wasn't so well known in Utah, here. Perhaps, Utah didn't know much about Logan.
Logan turns out to be a werewolf. What is so monstrous about werewolves? Earlier I heard Logan talk about the other man who seemed to be a werewolf to kill me for my blood.'
As Adalyn listened and watched, questions stormed her head and she could only answer some of those questions. She didn't know much about werewolves but what she had learnt so far with her time around Logan, she knew werewolves could shape shift, they sought blood for more strength, they have a queen and loved to fight each other. However, who was Don and why were they fighting about Don?
Adalyn couldn't see much in the dark but she was hearing everything both wolves were discussing. She wasn't surprised that Logan was a werewolf. She just didn't expect it.
