Chapter 86 - Chapter-80 World of Eridoria

After all of theml left, Arthur was still in his lord house. Thinking about the information he got from kaldor.

"How vast is the dark forest."

It's not like Arthur didn't asked his heroes or other subjects about this world but they only gave a valuable answer. Like the name of this world is [Eridoria]. Which has 4 continent streching to trillions of kilometres each. Each continent was divided by vast and deep oceans. Where Ocean creatures lives and has their kingdom established there

- The Dragon's Spine: A mountain range home to ancient dragons, precious minerals, and forgotten ruins.

- The Wysteria: A land of rolling hills, lush forests, and bustling cities, and powerful monarchs.

- The Shadowlands: A dark and foreboding region, shrouded in mist and legend, rumored to be home to malevolent entities.

- The Astral Plateaus: A vast, arid expanse, dotted with ancient artifacts and mysterious energy signatures.

Currently Arthur territory was in the wysteria continent. And the dark forest is the most dangerous and mysterious area of this continent. Dark forest only occupies 2% of Wysteria, stretching millions of kilometres."

"I need to figure out the mysteries of this forest. There is a saying that one doesn't fear a invincible. One fears a unknown."

Arthur sighed and looked at his inventory and saw some items that can be given to his heroes or he needs to use that himself.

"Skill Upgrade Scroll*

Rank:* Gold

Description:* This scroll can be used to upgrade a single skill to the next rank. However, it can only be used on skills up to the Silver rank; skills of higher ranks cannot be upgraded with this scroll."

*Name:* Battle God Formation

*Rank:* Platinum

*Description:* This powerful formation can be used to train a commander to harness the collective power and mana of all soldiers under their command. By channeling this energy, the commander can tap into unimaginable powers, effectively becoming a battle god.

*Effect Duration:* The duration of the skill's effect is directly tied to the number of soldiers under the commander's command and their respective ranks. The more soldiers and the higher their ranks, the longer and more potent the effect will be.

*Side Effects:*

1. *Limited Usage:* This skill can only be used once a month, making it a strategic and carefully considered decision.

2. *Hidden Damage:* Overextending the use of this skill may result in unforeseen damage to the commander.

3. *Post-Skill Coma:* After the skill's effect ends, the commander will enter a coma-like state for 1 day, rendering them unable to participate in battles.

4. *Mana Drain:* The soldiers under the commander's command will lose 5% of their mana reserves when this skill is used.

*Note:* The effectiveness of the Battle God Formation is directly proportional to the number of soldiers under the commander's command and their respective ranks. The more soldiers and the higher their ranks, the more powerful the commander will become. Arthur's mind was already racing with the possibilities of how he could utilize this powerful skill.

"Name- Soldiers' Training Manual

Description:* This basic manual provides a foundational guide for training soldiers. By using this manual, soldiers can learn the skills of Mana Slash, Rampage, and Monster Hunter. These skills will enable them to work more cohesively as a team and increase their trust in one another, ultimately making them a more formidable force on the battlefield."

Arthur looked at these items. "I will give them to commanders in the morning, it's already late. I also have 7 Hero card, i platinum and 6 gold rank one. I will summon them tomorrow."

"Should I also give them a seperate units." Arthur was thinking about this while going towards his bed to sleep. He was already tired today. Then suddenly a system message came.

[Attention lords, you have done well till now. Your protection period will end in 10 hours]

Here's a more polished and professional version of your passage:

---

Arthur glanced at the items in his inventory.

"I'll distribute these to the commanders in the morning," he murmured. "It's already late."

His eyes shifted to the shimmering cards tucked within his inventory.

"I still have seven Hero Summoning Cards—one Platinum Rank and six Gold Rank. I'll summon them tomorrow."

As he made his way toward his bed, exhaustion weighing down on him, a thought lingered in his mind.

"Should I assign each of them their own specialized unit?"

Just as he laid down to rest, a crisp system notification suddenly echoed in his mind:

[System Alert: Attention, Lords. You have performed well thus far. Your Protection Period will end in 10 hours.]

Arthur's eyes snapped open slightly.

"My protection period ended two days ago since my population had already exceeded the maximum capacity of my territory. It was a type of punishment from system." (Chapter-57)

Arthur lay on his bed, eyes fixed on the glowing interface as he opened the Global Channel. It was already flooded with messages, the atmosphere tense and chaotic.

[Global Channel]

"Ezra: What the hell does 'protection period ending' mean? Are monsters going to raid us now?!"

"Jin: Damn it, I've barely finished setting up my barracks… This system is brutal."

Helena: I just recruited my first silver-rank soldier yesterday. This is insane."

Briggs: Does anyone know how strong the enemy waves will be after protection ends?"

"Lord Lina: My walls are still wood and cloth… this is a death sentence."

"Parth:I told you all not to waste resources on aesthetics. Now you're all screwed."

"Malik: My territory is all defenses. Let them come. If you can't handle it, that's on you."

"Yugo: Can someone explain why we're suddenly being punished? It's only day six!"

"Vale: Anyone want to trade obsidian for food or healing potions? DM me."

"Zeera: No one told me farming would be this slow. I'm out of food already."

"Torin: I swear some people must've gotten legandary rank talents or something. The rest of us are just here struggling."

"Cyrus: Only the weak panic. I've got a rare rank Talent and my army is already silver-rank. The rest of you are just too slow."

"Finn: Tch. Some lords keep bragging in the rankings, but let's see how they last once the beasts come knocking. All that food trading won't save them."

"Mirielle: I saw someone summon a wyvern near my territory. Who the hell is pulling that off already?"

"Darius: This system's unfair. Some of us are still stuck in basic wood walls, and others are summoning gold-rank soldiers like it's nothing."

"Kez: I've barricaded myself inside the lord's house. If they break in, I'm done."

"Lord Viktor: Good. Let the weak fall. The fewer competitors, the better for us real contenders."

"Sanjay: You're all panicking, but if you planned properly and rationed well, this isn't even a big deal."

"Elya:I just want to survive one wave. That's all I ask."

**[System Message]:**

*— Notice: Global Protection Period Ends in 9 Hours, 42 Minutes —*

"Ezra: We're all going to die.'

Jin:Speak for yourself. I'm already building an escape tunnel.

Arthur closed the global channel.

"Almost all of them are panicking," he muttered.

Then, a name came to mind—Arora. Arthur talked to her daily and now their friendship has become solid. (yes friends only for now)

He opened the private chat window and sent a message.

"Arthur: Hey, you still up? Did you see the system alert?"

The reply came almost immediately.

"Arora: Of course I saw it. Hard to miss something that terrifying. What's going on?"

"Arthur: Nothing serious. Just wanted to check in… see if you need anything. Ten hours isn't a lot of time if your territory's not fully prepared."

A short pause, then a teasing response.

"Arora: Aww, that's sweet. But shouldn't you be worrying about yourself too? Or did the system bless you with some kind of eternal protection?"

Arthur chuckled softly, shaking his head.

"Arthur: Actually, it's the opposite. My protection period ended two days ago."

Across the world, Arora sat upright in bed, staring at the message. Her fingers hovered over the keys in disbelief.

"Arora: Wait… seriously? Two days ago?"

"Arthur: Yeah. My population exceeded the territory limit, so the system removed the protection early."

"Arora: And you're still standing? That means you've already faced monster waves. How did you even survive that?"

"Arthur: Preparation… maybe a bit of luck. Hard to say."

"Arora: That's insane. Most of us are still figuring out how to properly build gates, and you're already running a survival campaign."

"Arthur: You'll manage just fine. Just make sure your defenses are up, and your soldiers ready. If you need backup or extra supplies, let me know."

Her next message came after a longer pause, softer in tone.

"Arora: You always sound so calm. Like everything's under control."

"Arthur: I panic too. I just save it for after the fight."

"Arora: Heh… thanks for checking in. It's kind of comforting, knowing someone's got my back, even if you're on the other side of the world."

"Arthur: Always. You're not in this alone."

"Arora: thank you, but I am fine and I have been progressing rapidly also. Still can't believe you survived without protection. That's… honestly impressive."

"Arthur:I'll take that as a compliment."

"Arora:It was. And if I make it through tomorrow, maybe I'll owe you a proper thank-you."

Arthur smiled, leaning back slightly, the fatigue in his body feeling a little lighter.

"Arthur: Looking forward to it. Now get some rest. You'll need your strength."

"Arora: You too, soldier boy. Goodnight."

"Arthur:Goodnight, Arora."
