The gods that knew of him said, "No way—it's him! He's awakening!" Leo felt the presence of a certain unknown dark entity. "Now, I know you guys are probably confused about what happened to Vultra—that he was chained up. For more clarity, I advise you to read my other book, Into the Night Beast Tales. (Note: I am not promoting it; the two stories are connected.)"
Briefly, since Vultra is not the main character of this story: after Vultra defeated Maui and Fenrier came to assist him—after performing the ultimate heist on Zeus (to know why, read the book)—during that time the gods, mistaking Maui's defeat as Vultra's fault, united and sealed Vultra because allowing him to grow was seen as a threat. As the old-generation gods retired from their positions, new-generation gods came into existence. After Vultra was sealed in an alternate dimension, the old gods hid the event from the new generation (since there is a rule among the old gods stating that any god who snitches on the old generation and tells the new generation what transpired will be sealed for all eternity in Tartarus).
Fast forward to the recent wave of dark energy that came from Vultra awakening. Although it is a curse, to some it is a blessing. The scene then shifts to Denzan, still chained in Tartarus. As he sensed the wave of dark energy approaching, he decided to make use of it by assuming a lotus stance and waiting for the energy to enter his range. He began to absorb the wave—it took him three days to fully absorb it. After that, determined to try one last time—and considering the seal was already weakening and he had received a power-boost—he broke free from his chains. Still weak, he used Tartarus as a cultivating ground, absorbing all the energy by using his black hole ability to suck in the energy and then convert it to dark energy. When he sensed Vultra's presence, he immediately teleported to where Vultra was. Vultra, in his phase 2 transformation, looked like a wild primordial being; yet he remained chained since the gods' seal was holding well against him. And one more thing: his new "parents" were also killed, so he had now transcended the brink of madness. Currently, Vultra has gone insane.
Anyways, enough about them—let's go back to the MC of the story. Demos gave him, this time, a golem compressed into a wristwatch. Meanwhile, as the demons continued trying to enter the orbit, Leo's barrier completely outmatched them. "Disciples, move out!" he commanded. Leo instantly changed dimensions to Acheron's orbit and said, "Use system privileges, Creator God—permanent 50 stat boost to all humanoid robots and demihumans." All of the robots worldwide felt the boost and shouted, "Our Master has already given us our trump card—now it's time to farm!"
The first bodyguard opened a portal, sending 1,000 commando special-unit robots along with him and the remaining bodyguards. He told the commandos, "The only rule you have is to exterminate." The robots cheered and all entered the portal. The demons were shocked: out of the million forces they possessed, they had only sent 1,000 (excluding the master bodyguards), thinking it would be a piece of cake. As the demons rushed against the 1,000 commandos, they all summoned their armor and weapons. Each commando killed 1,000 demons per minute.
The five high demons, witnessing the commotion, went down to see what was happening. They were shocked that all their forces were being wiped out by the 1,000 commandos. They all thought, "If one commando can do this damage, what about the second group that wasn't even fighting—they were just casually moving to our location?" The high demons reported to the generals, and the generals ordered them to face the commandos while they would take care of the remaining foes.
As the high demons moved out, some headed in Leo's direction. Leo casually opened a portal into a torture and punishment dimension and sucked in the approaching high demons so that the remaining high demons stayed out of his way as they went to face the commandos. "It's time, Tezha and Nades—take the two generals, while Tangu, Lyx, and Vahubis take care of the remaining three generals. All clear now; move out!" They moved at such speeds that even the speed of light would seem slow to them.
Leo then shouted, "Demon King, time to rise!" As the Demon King rose from his throne, the generals tried to stop him, but he declared that they had their own fight to worry about. Just then, Tezha used his fire spear to pierce one general in the face and used his fire wheels to injure another. The other generals wanted to interfere, but he said, "No—I will take care of the brat." Approaching Tezha, he asked, "I would like to know the names of my soon-to-be victims."
Tezha replied, "My name—huh? Tell me yours first.""Very well," said the general, "my name is Voldigold. I am the fifth general of the Demon King's force.""Well, I'm Tezha, and that will be the last name you hear before I send you to join your ancestors," Tezha declared. He landed a devastating blow on Voldigold and smirked as the general regenerated. Voldigold countered with a gut blow, making Tezha feel as if his intestines were being pulled out. While Tezha took a second to catch his breath, Voldigold followed up with a blow to the cheek, sending Tezha flying.
"Let's finish this—I don't have all day. I have a lot of prey to kill," Voldigold said. Tezha accepted his permanent stat boost; although he had wanted to defeat Voldigold without help, he had no choice. His yin-yang symbol, which had been erratic, suddenly went haywire and then became in complete harmony. Tezha exhaled, opened his eyes—now flaming—and his breath transformed into a fire dragon. Yet Tezha captured the dragon and used it to upgrade his fire spear and wheels. When Tezha activated his armor, he became completely covered in a suit almost like that of a Power Ranger—the only difference being that it was very thin and extremely sturdy, made of the god's element he specialized in. His helmet, fashioned like a Chinese fire dragon, compressed into place. The real Nezha, witnessing this, was jealous of such luxury.
Tezha shouted, "You demon dog! I will kill you, slice your head off, and display it as a trophy to my Master!"Voldigold retorted, "If that's the case, it's time to go all out. Let's see which person's head will be displayed as a trophy to his master." Voldigold became completely enveloped in darkness and later emerged wearing crimson-red armor and wielding a giant longsword.
The two clashed fiercely. At this point, Tezha and Voldigold were at equal footing, engaging in an aura battle. Tezha's aura manifested as a giant version of himself, while Voldigold's aura appeared as a massive, dark, towering figure. Their giant versions summoned equally enormous versions of their weapons. During the clash, both Tezha and Voldigold eventually dropped their weapons and engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
Using his robot capabilities, Tezha decided to download every type of martial art in Acheron to change the game. In an opening opportunity, Tezha lunged behind Voldigold and delivered a devastating German suplex. As Voldigold gasped for air, Tezha locked him in a crossface clutch so intense it felt as if his eyes were about to pop out. Voldigold summoned daggers to create a gap, exclaiming, "What was that move?"
Tezha replied, "There's plenty more where that came from."
The spectators—the Demon King and Leo—enjoyed the battle, even eating popcorn and soda. The remaining generals stopped fighting to watch. Now the stage was set for everyone to go all out. Meanwhile, the Demon King and Leo created a combined dimension that could enhance both a demon's and a fighter's powers. The Demon King then stopped the ongoing clash, saying, "Emmm… I would love to continue watching your display, but the planet I want to conquer must be in good shape. If you don't mind, enter this portal to resume your match."
As the Demon King took his seat, Leo created a very large TV so that the whole of Acheron could view the battle no matter where they were. The humans in Acheron were surprised and exclaimed, "What kind of magic is this?"
The scene shifted back to the new arena where Tezha and Voldigold were fighting. "Now, no more jokes—let's unleash our real powers," Voldigold declared. Voldigold transformed into full dark smoke, while Nezha (present among the disciples) said, "Oh, now we're turning into our elements." It didn't matter, though, because soon Tezha changed into pure flames. His face was smirking out of the flames, and an exact giant replica of Nezha was controlled by Tezha through a "trump card" mecha fusion. Tezha used his brain waves to control the mecha from its heart, where he stood, while the core—acting like an anti-gravity field—stabilized it. Tezha also supplied the mecha with his fire spear, which powered it.
Back in the battle, a demon emerged from the darkness, fused to the forehead of a greater, pure-dark giant demon. Thus, the final showdown began.
