"Where did Silas go? It's been minutes now." Ice wondered, turning her gaze to the door he went in, seeing it led to the restroom. She bit her lower lip, wondering if he's in trouble.
"He must have went to use the restroom. I want to go too." Selena tugged at Ice's dress, making a face as Ice turned to stare at her. She hadn't gotten the chance until they arrived.
"I'll join you," Ice smiled, standing to her feet. Selena nodded as Ice took her hand then stepped out of their seats, walking to the door with Selena following behind her, "Hang on."
The uniformed conductor stared at them, then nodded his head. Someone just went in, but there were security cameras everywhere. If they saw anything bad, they'd raise alarm.
Ice nodded to the man, ushering Selena into the new area. She'd barely closed the door behind her when she noticed some men surrounding Silas, and she quickly silenced Selena.
With one hand wrapped tight around Selena's mouth, Ice stretched the other towards the group. The temperature dropped and in the blink of an eye the group turned to blocks.
Silas blinked at the blocks of ice, then he dropped his hand. He sighed, stepping to the side then sighing seeing Ice's worried expression, "Trust me, it wasn't anything worrying."
Just as the last syllable fell from his lips, one of the ice blocks burst into pieces. Before Silas could react, one guy charged out and grabbed his neck, lifting his feet off the ground.
Everything wars a blur to both Ice and Selena, and they only noticed the two after the man had slammed Silas' back into the ground, dragging him across until they got to a door.
Silas frowned as his head was slammed into the restroom door, bursting it open. Before the man could continue dragging him further, Silas grabbed his hand and tugged him closer.
Silas threw his fist, sending it slamming into the guy's mask. The mask didn't break, but instead a stabbing surged throughout Silas' arm from his fists and his his pupils contracted.
He quickly grabbed the masked man by the neck in reverse grip, then rotated the man in one swoop. The man's hand tore off bits of his flesh, drawing blood as he spiralled in the air.
Ice quickly released Selena, rotating her left in an arc. A thick shard of ice formed before her, aiming at the man who was suspended in the air then it thrust forth at lightning speed.
The ice shard stabbed through his unguarded chest, drove him past the door and pegged him into the glossy walls— The frost spread to shroud his upper body in a thick layer of ice.
Silas flipped to his feet, grabbing his bleeding neck with a worried expression on his face as he stared at the man pegged into the wall, "So that punch couldn't even break his mask."
'That punch would have shattered the skulls of any regular human, but it couldn't leave a scratch on that plastic looking mask?' Silas braced himself, 'I'll simply use Disintegration.'
"You interest us," The man remarked from within the ice, then he began cackling like a hyena. The ice around him shattered like glass, then he disappeared right before their gaze.
Silas crossed his arms before his body and a force knocked into his defence— like he was run over by a train —and he was lifted off the ground. For seconds, Silas felt featherweight.
Ice took Selena and jumped to the side, and a gust of wind blew past. The man appeared with his fist in Silas' guard, and the punch rocketed forward, dragging Silas across the area.
"Rocket Punch!" — those words trailed as a blinding trail of fire was drawn from where the punch connected, right to entrance and Silas back was used to bust open the train door.
The guard was was standing by the door didn't get to raise alarm before he got crushed to paste by the trail from the masked man's rocket punch, while they flew through the aisle.
The splinters from the door, and the torn bits of the train were hurled into the oblivious crowd like bullets. Before anyone could get hurt, a wall of ice formed, blocking all the parts.
The moment the temperature dropped to that of the bottom of a freezer and the stench of blood filled the air, the regulars noticed their situation, screaming in confusion then fear.
Silas slid across the ground after the momentum from the masked man's Rocket Punch had ceased, his metallic arm melting away. He'd formed that at the last second for defence.
"I didn't expect you to have such a strong attack." Silas remarked, trembling from the intense damage the shock travelling across his entire body caused, "I felt a tear inside me."
"That is my superpower," The masked man started speaking, smoke rising from the fist he used to punch Silas, "Through constant reactions, I can combust matter upon contact."
"So the second your fist connected, chemical reactions set off to ignite your target? Oh, that is interesting to note," Silas smirked, but a cold sweat rolled down the side of his face.
That means, neither Ice Fist or Iron Fist would be effective defences against his blows, since they would be combusted once that fool lays his hands on them and uses his powers.
They must have sent him here since he'd be the perfect counter for any tricks Silas had in mind with the Arctic Core. Silas sighed, grabbing the side of his face, "I can't believe it."
While he was distracted, the masked man dashed forward, reaching out with his right hand. The light in Silas' eyes leaked out through the gaps in his hand as he drew a breath.
He spun around, dodging the masked man's sweeping hand. Silas scoffed, reaching out his hands as he readjusted his position, then slammed both hands together after a second.
The bits of metal scattered across the ground rose into the air, crashing in the masked man from all sides. The man reached out his hands to block, but some pieces slipped past.
As the metallic shards tore sliced through his arms and legs, Silas shifted his glance to the window, reaching out one hand, "I just imagine how far I can push these newer skills."
Just as the words left his lips, the metals from far outside the train, from all over their tunnel, began to groan. The windows burst to pieces, and frightened screams filled the air.
