Chapter 13 - Fuka and the Blind!

Tris flinched! His fluffy ears flickered lightly, he had to think really fast! – Suddenly, his ears turned to normal, ethereal strings floating as Fuka proceeded to appear on the Table!

Fuka moved slightly, already playing into her role as supposedly the pet! – Looking rather fox-exasperated. But she had to! For Tris!

"Eep! Eep!"

Fuka let out a few natural fox squeaks, causing Nora to instantly move her hand, lightly letting out a squeak of her own!

Taking this opportunity, Fuka moved herself and stole a piece of Tris's food! She had to be paid for this extra work after all.

"Oop!- And that's Fuka! Don't mind her. As I said, she probably won't eat you!"

Tris chimed in, shooting a glare at the thief. Fuka is nomming and happy with her actions. – Nora blinked. She loved the fluffiness of the tail, but Tris's words made her be spooked of her.

"So fluffy... What do you even feed her that makes it like that!"

Nora spoke, clearly interested. After all, she could only feel with her hands, not see. – The fluffy one just flicking her tail into the air, awaiting if she's ever needed again to aid with the situation.

"She feeds on the souls of dead Linguists. As such she can read and speak every language that has ever existed."

Tris was blunt, what was wrong with his head! – Nora gave a chuckle, clearly thinking he was joking. He was not. Perhaps maybe lying, or well not lying. But exaggerating on the feeding part.

"Mhmmm, surely. Must be a very good person. Wouldn't you mind helping me with the German homework, hmm?"

Nora teased into the air. Tris seemed to almost choke, not to the joke, but to her mention of German. That language was a curse to his whole being. He hated it more than anything else.

"Please not German... I'd rather die than let my poor child deal with that."

He answered Nora, while Fuka was wiggling her tail... She liked helping with anything language-related! – Nora just chuckled, finally finishing her food!

Tris's plate still had quite a big part left on it, personally he barely ate much anyway, pushing it by the corner towards Fuka. – The fox happily accepted with a wiggle of her ear, moving and beginning to eat like an animal! An animal that seemed to have better manners than Tris that's for sure.

"Not a fan of languages I see? Having that much hate just for a school subject is cute."

Nora spoke, her lips slightly curling up. Fuka moved her head up from the plate. Looking at Nora then at Tris.

'IS SHE HITTING ON YOU?! You can do way better than her! WAY better! Only some queen is fit to hit on you!'

This was not spoken out loud but rather echoed in his head as Fuka looked at him, her tail flicking into the air. – Wait, was she? No, No she wasn't. At least for now, Tris was sure of it. Psychology was something he liked, observant he was, and perceptive as well! – Though those skills need refining...

"Oh, I know! I am the most adorable creature in this universe! Though everyone that called me Cute suddenly disappeared, to be thinking about it I think Fuka also disappeared for a day or two every time...!"

Tris joked, his ears flickering lightly. Nora grinned as she finally placed the fork on the plate!

"Aww, don't worry. I'm willing to take the risk!"

Nora teased, happily. Tris suddenly paused, blinking. Perhaps he shouldn't have challenged her. – Fuka? She stared at her, contemplating murder for sure.

"Well, I'm sorry but I ain't dealing with a murderous fox. You can keep her!"

Tris spoke, his ears flickered. Fuka's eyes simply told him to let her mawl the lady. But he really couldn't just do that. Even if he sometimes wanted to let her go wild.

"Mhmm, now what is the time? I'm kind of expecting someone... They need to come over and leave some stuff of mine."

Nora asked, after all, she kind of couldn't see with her own two eyes... which remained covered by that headband-like cloth.

Tris gave a small yawn, his hand moving and taking out his phone, clicking the button and taking a look at the screen.

"Uhh, almost Nine, ten more minutes."

Tris answered. Giving a small yawn, his arms stretched in the air. Nora just gave a small nod. – While Fuka simply stared daggers at Nora.

"Mhm... A family friend needs to bring me some things. – And a pretty necklace I have! My mother would end me if I lost it..."

Nora spoke, quite happy with the fact she would finally get her things back into her possession. – Tris gave a nod while Fuka just moved and finished the last piece of egg on the plate.

"Mhm, I have all my stuff around here. If not, probably close nearby or at some place I frequent and keep stuff in."

Tris spoke, his hand moving lightly and and petting Fuka's head, she did not mind it. Her fluffiness was adorable in the end. She couldn't refuse that easily.

"Mhm, I could tell. It was either you kept everything arranged and clean. Or you didn't have all your things here. Taking all I ran into was a water bottle-."

Nora spoke, still smiling. After all, she learnt to move like this over the years and knows when to pay attention and when not to. She earned that skill after a lot of struggles.

"Ooh, am I that worth observing? I'd say I'm not that special."

Tris spoke, his ears flickering. He had a small feeling she might use this and make him regret it. But the risk was meh, he didn't believe she would do it.

"Ooh, I can say you are! Sly, tall, and probably handsome. Do I need to speak more? You're also nice! And helped me get around!"

She spoke, slightly teasing him. In the end, he should have believed the worst could happen. Tris sighed, on the inside of course. – Fuka was ready to unleash hell. She looked ready to jump and charge forward just to destroy and rip her limb from limb.

"Woahh! I wouldn't have known if you didn't tell me that for sure!"

Tris spoke, his hand moving and pulling Fuka by the tail, making sure she didn't actually jump to attack Nora. – Even when dragged. Her eyes stood fixated on Nora, she was very angry with the lady. In the end, someone had to have standards, and if Tris wasn't one to have those, it would have to be Fuka.

"Mhmm I'm sure of it! You wouldn't ha-"

Just as Nora was speaking the door rang! She scurried up from her seat, moving slowly as her palm touched the wall, using it for guidance.

Tris remained silent as she moved over, opening the door. – Behind it stood a man, to be honest. They looked quite similar, probably a sibling or family of sorts. Passing over in her hand a small backpack, seemingly in a hurry as he began moving right after.

They exchanged a few words, but Tris was too far to be able to hear them, so she simply smiled, starting to move over once more. – Not far did she walk before her feet accidentally kicked over that one bottle of water once more.

Tris let out a cackle while she stood there for a second. Motionless as she bent down and felt around the area for it, placing it back straight.

Normally, he would have intervened and helped, but in the end, she also needed to learn the placement of things around the apartment as well.

After that age finally managed to move over to the seat once more. She swiftly moved her hands, opening it up by the zipper. – Inside stood rather mundane items, or mostly mundane.

As her hand felt around he could lightly see a little horse plushie in there. But he couldn't comment on it. – In the end, his room had. One blue elephant plushie, one rainbow Unicorn plushie, one fennec fox plushie, three fox plushies... Perhaps that was a bit much.

And as such she just pulled out a necklace before putting the bag down. – At the end of the necklace stood a peculiar. Dagger-like object. It was small, the size of a feather. And seemingly slightly blunt. Of a whitish-grey colour. Quite the something if you'd ask him.

Fuka went silent, stared at for a moment but seemingly skipped over. It wasn't her business in the end. – Nora just put it around her neck, taking her sweet time. It took a good while to close it, and I finally managed to put it on properly.

"Ha! Looks good? I'd say it's pretty! If I could see it-!"

Nora spoke with a big smile, clearly happy with it, as it stood neatly around her neck, going well with her pale skin. The whitish-grey steel still looking quite awesome on its own.
