"I'm going to tell you about W.A.P," Rosso said, his voice low and serious. "The Wing Anomaly Protector."
"W.A.P?" Rai raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"
"It's an organization deeply embedded within the jinn society," Rosso explained. "They call themselves protectors of anomalies. But in truth… they're nothing more than a twisted group using anomalies as guinea pigs for their experiments."
"That sounds… terrifying. Are they dangerous? And what exactly is an anomaly?" Rai asked, concern growing in his voice.
"They're not just dangerous—they're everywhere," Rosso said, glancing around as if afraid the trees might be listening. "Their members are hidden, their influence spreads across human lands—even beyond the solar system. An anomaly could be a jinn or even a shaman. Like Susu—her ability to bind followers makes her one. And shamans? Some anomalies are those who awaken khodams with consciousness… or khodams that aren't even human in form. Some even awaken female khodams when they're male… like you, Rai. You were nearly marked as an anomaly too."
Rai froze for a moment, goosebumps crawling up his arms.
"That's insane… What happens if they find out?" he asked.
"They capture anomalies," Rosso said gravely. "They imprison them for experimentation. Their abductions are swift, silent. No one has a chance to resist. That's why… you must hide Susu. Only I know about her ability to bind other jinn."
Rai nodded slowly, his expression hardened.
"And what if… I gave some of the Milk Maid jinn to my friends?"
Rosso shook his head. "Keep them hidden. Or sell them if you must. Your friends may not even choose jinn like these. Besides, the academy will help students acquire their own jinn slaves and artificial khodams. Don't underestimate the No. 1 Academy in this world."
Rai looked down at his hand, where he had touched Susu before the bond.
So… I'm walking a thin line.
He clenched his fists.
"Understood, Master Rosso. I'll keep this power hidden."
After the conversation ended, Susu quietly entered Rai's khodam. Rosso's khodam then opened a shimmering portal once more.
"It's almost night. Time to return. You'll need your rest," Rosso said.
Rai nodded, and his khodam returned to his body—now carrying a massive surge of energy. The sudden infusion overwhelmed his system. Subtle changes began to manifest—certain body parts became slightly larger, and his skin noticeably smoother and softer.
Back in the girls' dormitory, Rai reappeared in the shared room. His roommates stared at him with curiosity, sensing something… different.
Without hesitation, Rai proudly revealed his new jinn slave—Susu, the Milkmaid jinn with succubus wings.
Anna's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait… something about you looks… bigger."
Unna leaned in, narrowing her eyes. "Can we… buy the milk directly from her?"
"That's actually a great idea," Anna nodded.
"What the hell?! You Russian girls are already in the lead, and now you wanna widen the gap!?" Houyi protested, visibly flustered. She, being the second smallest in their group, suddenly felt a sense of crisis.
"You should sell it to me too!" Houyi pointed at Rai.
"Huh? Why don't you all just find and contract a Milkmaid jinn yourselves?" Rai asked innocently.
Rara shook her head. "They're weak. Mostly used to carry items or produce milk. Not very useful in combat."
"Oh yeah?" Rai smirked. "Susu, show them the red energy."
At his command, Susu stepped forward and unleashed a stream of vibrant red energy, condensing it into a glowing heart-shaped arrow.
Anna's mouth dropped open. "Wait… did you just contract a mutant-type jinn?"
"What's that mean?" Rai asked, confused.
Houyi answered, eyes wide. "Mutant-type jinn are way stronger than regular jinn. But… still weaker than anomaly-type jinn."
"Anomaly-type?" Anna echoed. "This is the first I've heard of it."
Rara hesitated, realizing she'd slipped. "Ah… I didn't mean to say that. Anomaly-type jinn are extremely rare. Almost impossible to find. Their unique trait is this—they can take in others of their kind as followers. So if you ever manage to subjugate one, you automatically become the queen… or king… of their entire species."
Rai blinked slowly, keeping his expression neutral.
He definitely wasn't going to tell them that Susu was one of those.
After that conversation, Rai couldn't calm down.
Even though he hadn't directly stated that Susu was an anomaly-type jin, his intelligent roommates had already begun to suspect it. And that alone was enough to make him uneasy.
In the corner of his room, gazing out the small window at the night sky, Rai recalled the dark whispers he'd overheard from senior students.
> "Dukuns with anomaly jinn… usually don't live long."
"Some vanish without a trace. Some lose their jinn. Some go insane."
Rai bit his lip. His hands trembled slightly.
So this is why Mom told me to use that forbidden artifact…
Back then, he didn't understand why his mother was so desperate for him to use an artifact that could change his gender.
Now he knew. The world of dukuns and jinn wasn't just about power—it was about hidden politics, secret organizations, and a fate that could be sealed just because someone knew who you truly were.
W.A.P. — Wing Anomaly Protector — a terrifying organization that even a powerful dukun like Rosso warned him about.
That organization… was like a living myth. Everyone knew of it, but no one dared speak its name or seek proof.
If it was true that W.A.P. had members embedded across the solar system, infiltrating both the human and jinn realms…
Then there was no safe place for a revealed anomaly.
"I have to hide everything," Rai whispered.
His gender.
Susu.
And perhaps… his future.
Fortunately, Susu's form and power could still pass as a mutated jin, at least for now.
But deep inside, Rai knew—he was no longer just an ordinary dukun.
For some reason, out of all the people in the world, the anomaly had chosen him.
That night, after all the conversations had ended and her roommates had fallen asleep, Rai slowly pulled the blanket over herself. She stared at the ceiling of the dorm room, her mind still crowded with thoughts.
"I have to be careful tomorrow…" she murmured softly.
She closed her eyes, trying to calm down.
"Hope nothing weird happens again."
Letting out a deep breath, Rai turned to her side, adjusting her sleeping position.
"Whatever, I'll just sleep. My head's spinning from all this."
Slowly, her consciousness faded, and Rai finally drifted off to sleep—though a trace of unease still lingered in her heart.
