Chapter 4 - loguetown (III) clash with Momonga

Less than a two hours after he sent the message, Momonga recieved a response from the fleet admiral Akainu

"Momonga, you're to bring in this seed of evil at once. You must remember, villainy runs through his blood. It won't be long before he shows his true colors, just like Dragons son amd Roger's son, should he continue to live it could come back to hunt us later on."

Without waisting much time, Momonga heads out of his room and calls two other marine soldiers. The three if them head out to hunt down Drakon.

Meanwhile, Drakon is in the harbor with a large chest and boarding a small boat.

"Leaving without saying goodbye?" Said Daddy Masterson from the back.

"I wouldn't dream of it. I knew you'll be Herr, you catch on fast." He responded.

"Why are you running away?"

"It's personal. But thank you, both you and Carol for taking care of me for the last year and a half."

"You know, I thought we're family. Let us help you, kid."

"No, you can't. The less you know, the better. I don't want you guys in danger because of my bloodline."

"Is this about being Shikis son?" Said Daddy in a cold tone

A heavy slinence fell between the two.

"You knew?" Asked Drakon

"From the moment you stepped foot in loguetown. I was a marine, remember? But what you don't know is I was there when your old man attacked Impel Down, me and Momonga actually. We nearly died that day, but thanks to Vice-admiral Garp and fomer fleet admiral SenGoku we managed to survive. It was a wake up call to both me and Momonaga on how week we are, so I asked for a transfer to the east blue because of how weak the pirates of these waters are. But, what I took as a defeat, Momonga took as a life lesson to get stronger."

A tear starts falling from Drakons eye. "If you knew all this time why didn't you say something? Do you know how many times I wanted to tell you about it but I was scared that you won't accept me? I have the blood of a criminalin me and no matter how many people i asked about him, they all said the same thing. That a seed of someone that evil should die."

"Look, I didn't say anything to you because you didn't say anything to me. If you didn't want to talk about it I had no right to talk about it too." Drakon's voice cracked as he spoke, the weight of his emotions bearing down on him. "I was scared, Daddy. I was scared that you'd see me as a monster, just like they do. But... but I guess it's better to know that you know. It's like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders."

Daddy Masterson's expression softened, his eyes filled with a deep understanding. "Drakon, listen to me. You're not defined by your father's actions. You're your own person, with your own heart and your own sense of justice. I've seen the good in you, kid. I've seen the way you carry yourself, the way you treat others. You're not a monster. You're a bounty hunter, just like me."

Drakon sniffed, wiping his nose with the back of his hand. "Thanks. Just knowing that you know... it feels like I can breathe a little easier." Daddy Masterson placed a reassuring hand on Drakon's shoulder. "We'll face whatever comes next together, kid. You're not alone in this."

"So, that's your choice, Masterson?" A voice said coming from the back.

Daddy took out his guns and aimed straight at were the voice came from. "Momonga, the kids innocent. He did nothing wrong."

"I know that. But, he is Shikis son, that alone is something to be worrying over. You saw how the son of Roger and Dragon turned the world upside down two years ago. What's to say he won't follow on their footsteps as well?" Said Momonga as he started drawing out his sword.

"The kid has been living as a bounty hunter, bringing pirates to justice where you Marines couldn't. That alone says he's a good person."

Momonga's sword gleamed in the light as he took a step forward. "I'm not here to harm the boy, Daddy. But I need to know more about him. About his potential... and the risks he poses. I want you to think carefully about this, if you attack a marine officer, you will be branded as a criminal as well. Think about Carol."

Daddy Masterson's guns blazed as he fired at Momonga, the Vice Admiral dodging to the side with ease. Momonga retaliated with a swift sword strike, Daddy Masterson leaping out of the way just in time. The two clashed in a flurry of gunfire and sword strikes, their movements lightning-fast. Drakon watched in awe, his heart racing with excitement and concern.

Daddy Masterson landed a kick, sending Momonga flying across the room. The Vice Admiral quickly regained his footing, his sword flashing in the light. The battle raged on, the two combatants exchanging blows and neither gaining the upper hand. Drakon realized he needed to get out of the way, avoiding the fighting as he tried to process what was happening.

As the fight intensified, it seemed only a matter of time before one of them emerged victorious. But for now, the outcome hung in the balance.

Momonga unleashed a powerful slash, Daddy Masterson barely dodging it. The Vice Admiral followed up with a swift kick, but Daddy Masterson caught his leg and twisted it, sending Momonga stumbling back.

Drakon took advantage of the distraction to slip away, his eyes fixed on the fight as he retreated to a safe distance. He couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - concern for Daddy Masterson, and unease about Momonga's intentions. The battle raged on, the two combatants exchanging blows and showcasing their impressive skills. Daddy Masterson's guns fired rapidly, but Momonga's sword sliced through the air with deadly precision.

As the fight continued, it became clear that both opponents were evenly matched, each refusing to back down. The outcome hung precariously in the balance, with Drakon anxiously waiting to see who would emerge victorious.

"Are you holding back on me, Mamonga?" Asked Masterson

"Honestly, I am. I don't want to hurt a friend. I'm sorry if I offended you. As a show of sportsmanship, I'll use my ultimate attack." Said Mamonga

Momonga's eyes gleamed with determination as he began to focus his energy. The air around him began to distort, and a massive, ghostly fist materialized, hurtling towards Daddy Masterson. The bounty hunter's eyes widened as he realized the enormity of the attack.

"Looks like you're not just holding back, Momonga," Daddy Masterson said, his voice laced with a mix of respect and wariness. "Time to show you what I'm capable of." With a swift motion, Daddy Masterson holstered his guns and assumed a fighting stance, ready to face the incoming attack. The ghostly fist closed in, and Daddy Masterson prepared to clash with Momonga's ultimate technique.

After the whole clash, Daddy Masterson was seen on the ground on his back. "You've gotten stronger, my friend." Momonaga said with a smile. "Cadet, take this man to the hospital. And he was never here! Do you understand?"

"Yes sir" Said the Nevy soldier.

"Now then, time to catch the golden lion cub."
