Eve's cheeks flushed as she turned away from Roman, her heart racing. "I need to get dressed", she said, her voice a little shaky. "Please, go away".
Roman chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief and amusement. "Go away? You think it's that easy to get rid of me, Desire? I'm a spirit, remember? I know everything about you. Even if I saw you naked, I couldn't tell anyone. You're safe with me".
Eve's face grew hotter as she grabbed some clothes and held them in front of her. "Roman, please", she said, her voice firm. "Turn around or leave. I need some privacy".
Roman raised an eyebrow, his smile still playing on his lips. "And miss the show? I think I'll stay right here". He leaned against the wall, his eyes fixed on her.
Eve's patience wore thin. "Roman, I'm serious. Turn around or go away, now".
Roman sighed, pushing off the wall. "Fine, fine. I'll turn around". He turned his back to her, asking over his shoulder, "where are you going by the way?"
Eve let out a breath of relief as she quickly got dressed. "I don't know", she said, her voice a little softer now that she had some space between them. "Maybe the cafe. I need some fresh air and breakfast".
Roman's eyes sparkled with interest, even though she couldn't see his face. "I'll come with you", he said, his voice low and smooth.
Eve's heart skipped a bit at the thought of Roman accompanying her. But before she could respond, Roman turned around, his eyes locking onto hers, and she felt her breath catch in her throat. "Roman, I…", she began, but trailed off, unsure of what to say.
"What?" Roman asked, his expression softening.
Eve took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts. "Never mind", she said finally. "Let's just go".
